In 2006, former WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne) meteorologist Chris Bradley joined WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio. Today, he's their chief meteorologist. Earlier this year, doctors diagnosed Mr. Bradley with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He underwent chemotherapy, had a stem cell transplant, and went into remission. Mr. Bradley's family told WBNS-TV that he's no longer in remission and he's battling severe pneumonia while in the ICU at a Columbus, Ohio hospital.

Gray Television's NBC affiliate/WNDU-TV (Channel 16, South Bend) welcomes News Director Kate Glover. Ms. Glover recently spent nearly a year as News Director in Buffalo, New York (WGRZ-TV). Before that, Ms. Glover worked for nearly three years as Assistant News Director (and, they promoted her to News Director) at KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon.
Early next year, Weigel Broadcasting's ABC affiliate WBND-TV (Channel 57, South Bend) will welcome evening news anchor Brian Conybeare. Mr. Conybeare will co-anchor four evening newscasts with Colleen Bormann (5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 11:00pm), along with a 10:00pm local newscast on sister CW affiliate WCWW-LD (Channel 25, South Bend). Mr. Conybeare last worked as a reporter and anchor for WCBS-TV in New York City and News12 Westchester, New York.

Job Description: The successful candidate knows we work in the entertainment business and takes pride in the success of their air talent. Using your skills, our well-equipped studios, your strategic thinking and creative abilities to constantly create award winning type radio spots, put the overall cluster in a position to succeed. • Coordinate, assign, and produce advertising messages with clients, sales and programming staff • Copy-writing • Voice selected ads • Assure production is complete on a timely basis to help Traffic Manager to develop daily logs.
Required Skills: 2+ years production experience. Proficient with Adobe Audition, V-Creative and spot delivery systems. Ability to carry an air-shift, live or voice-tracked. Experience with Enco a plus.
Education Required: College degree in T-Comm or production gives you the advantage.

WBCL in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is starting an Urban Gospel and Praise online station. This will not be another online jukebox. This station will have the same mission as WBCL with the same personality-oriented and community-driven mindset.

• Experience with scheduling music using MusicMaster software

• Have complete and enthusiastic buy-in to our mission
• Know this music format on a deep level
• Be very comfortable interviewing people from all walks of life for live shows and longer pre-recorded interviews
