Eastertide is rolling
Little can beat the joy of this past Sunday. A full sanctuary buoyant with praise, a crowded youth room enjoying breakfast, students serving by helping to bring down chairs as the worship center filled up, and at the center the celebration of the resurrection. He is risen!
The day may be done, but both the impact and season of Easter roll on. Up next is our spring Outdoor Worship this Sunday, April 7, followed by our Cookout Fundraiser Lunch and we need your help. We are asking each youth and parent/guardian to sign up for a crew slot to work as well as a food item to bring, and you can use this link to sign up.
The weeks after Easter don't get the attention that other parts of the year do (ask any teacher trying to hold down the fort till finals) but it's in this time that we can hold to what we know about Easter to launch us into the days and weeks to come. There are, both inside and outside of our church, wonderful opportunities to welcome, grow, serve, and celebrate. Christ has risen, and invites us with him!
