The ospreys are back! There are two pairs of ospreys that return every year to nest in our valley and are captured by one of two osprey webcams. One is located in Emma Osprey Cam- Emma, CO | Pitkin County, CO and the other is near the Colorado Rocky Mountain School campus in Carbondale CRMS Osprey Camera I A must visit the page. These magnificent raptors nest near the river, since their diet is almost exclusively fish. Their large nests are usually built on top of standing dead trees or man-made structures like telephone poles or platforms specifically made for them. They typically mate for life and the nesting pair returns to the same nest every year. They are currently in the nest-improvement stage and will soon be laying eggs that will hatch in about 4-5 weeks. The hatchlings will stay in the nest for about 2 months until they can fly on their own. So take a look at these amazing birds - you'll be hooked.

This delightful and powerful play helps preschool and elementary students recognize and explore the strong emotions they sometimes experience.
Two everyday students are guided by an omniscient host as their emotions become actual monster puppets that illustrate how feelings can sometimes be bigger than we are. As they journey through a typical school day, the host teaches them and the audience three specific strategies for taming these monsters and learning what to do when we feel overcome by anger, fear, jealousy, or any other powerful emotion. Monster in Me is a play that was developed to have a sustained effort to support students' social-emotional growth through high-quality theatre.

| Recreational Vehicle Storage |
|
|
Many in the RVR community own all sorts of recreation vehicles and outdoor toys. We are noticing more and more of these types of vehicles parked in RVR neighborhoods in recent weeks.
As a kind reminder, the Second Amendment to the RVR Master Declaration, Section 3.16, Vehicle Parking, Storage, Operation, and Repair states: “No boats, trailers, buses, motor homes, campers (on or off supporting vehicles), motorcycles, snowmobiles, recreational vehicles, golf carts, trucks, industrial or commercial vehicles (both cabs or trailers), abandoned or inoperable vehicles, or any other similar vehicles shall be parked or stored in or upon the Master Common Areas or upon a Lot or Unit except for temporary loading and unloading during daylight hours…”
We ask that those who are out of compliance to please remedy this by finding another location to store your recreational vehicle. Thank you for your coopertaion!
