Champlain College Night with the Vermont Lake Monsters  
Thursday, June 29th, 2017 // 6:00 pm // Champlain College
Mark your calendars and join us for the annual Champlain College night with the VT Lake Monsters! The pre-game BBQ starts at 6 PM, and the game begins at 7:05 PM.

Champlain College Announces 2017 Honorary Degree Recipients
Champlain College will bestow honorary doctorates upon NBC's Today Show host and founder of Roker Media Labs, Al Roker, and CEO of the Forney Group and the Executive Managing Director of Global Cyber Security Management at Equinoxys Inc., Renee Forney, during the College's Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 13. The on-campus undergraduate ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Edmunds School Field.

Chamaplain Visits VICE Media
On Friday, April 14th, 10 Graphic Design students had the privilege of visiting VICE Media in Brooklyn, NY as part of our Career EdVenture program. We were hosted by alumnus Gerry Weber '10, now an Art Director at VICE LAND. Gerry gave us a tour of the VICE offices and spent 2 hours chatting with the group about design and what it's like to work at VICE.
Champlain's Game Design Program Ranks #14 in 2017 Princeton Review "Top 50"
The Princeton Review has released its annual ranking of the best schools for students to study and launch a career in game design. We are pleased to announce that Champlain College's undergraduate Game Design program is ranked #14. Read more here.

Weathervane  is the official digital magazine of the Division of Communication and Creative Media (CCM), fully produced by students and faculty under the direction of Kim MacQueen, Managing Editor of the Champlain College Publishing Initiative (CCPI).

Weathervane  features news stories and profiles showcasing CCM students, faculty, and alumni, and celebrates the talent and achievements of the CCM Division and its two Centers of Excellence to our campus and broader communities of alumni, parents, industry partners, and CCM supporters. Education and Human Studies Award Night
Outstanding students received an Education and Human Studies Divisional Award at Champlain on Wednesday, April 12 at Champlain College's annual honor night for students.Dean Dr. Laurel Bongiorno led the evening studentst were recognized at the event by their professors and mentors.                                                                                   Read more here.

CCM Honors Night Awards
Champlain College celebrated the success of its students in the Division of Communication and Creative Media (CCM) during the Honors Night ceremony held Thursday, April 13th, at Champlain.
The event featured an Art reception where the honorees and their guests mingled with student artists who painted watercolor works of celestial-themed art on site. Read more here.
