Happy New Year, AU Neighbors!
2025 is here and we couldn't be more excited to return from winter break and kick off the new semester with you. As last year drew to a close, our students, faculty, and staff were focused on a festive mission to bring the AU community together to spread holiday cheer.
We hope you were able to catch some of those vibes but, in case you missed them, check out this video of AU President, Jonathan Alger and Clawed brightening AU's campus with lights and celebrating the holidays in style.

| Tap into AU's Big World Podcast - Latest Episode
|
Welcome to the Big World, a monthly international affairs conversation. Each episode of this intriguing and innovative AU podcast features an expert from the School of International Service breaking down a big, important topic into small bite sizes.
In the latest episode, which dropped this week, SIS professor Johanna Mendelson Forman is joined by University of Milan professor, Andrea Borghini, to discuss the power of the dining table and its function as a proxy for different types of behavior. In a world of conflict, what does it mean to gather, break bread, and navigate divisive topics, all while enjoying the one thing we can all agree on - a good meal.
