Dear Students, 

Hope your semester is going well so far!

Now that this semester just started, it is a good time to make plans for the break periods throughout this academic year. The Break Information Website provides information about fall break, winter break, spring break, and summer session so that you can review available offerings and confidently make your own plans.

The Break Information Website includes details about on-campus housing; information for students living off-campus; travel tips and shuttle information; and changes to operating hours at the dining centers, libraries, fitness center, and other campus services. You will also find information about preparing your residence before leaving campus, whether you live on- or off-campus.

Break periods offer an important opportunity to reduce energy use dramatically and are a good prompt to consider security if you will be away from your home during break periods.

New this year is the creation of an Alternative Spring Break experience. Look for more information later this month.

During each break period, Tufts operations shift down. There are greater limitations to the services we offer during break periods than during the semester. Knowing this, we provide details about breaks in advance so that you have time to plan accordingly.

Please take some time over the next few weeks to review the Break Information Website and make your break plans.
