AP, IB, and Prematriculation Credit
The Registrars' Office receives and posts AP and IB scores the first week of July. All scores will be posted in DukeHub approximately one week after scores are received.
You can check DukeHub under the 'Academics' section, and then under 'Test Scores' to see if your scores have arrived. If you have not yet submitted your scores, you can find out how to do that on the Advanced Placement Credit page.
If you have pre-matriculation credit (PMC), you can learn about submitting it to be evaluated for credit here.

Not Sure Where to Start in Certain Departments? |
Many departments offer guidelines for students wondering where to begin in that department:
Creating a Balanced Schedule |
Here are some tips as you think about your fall courses:
- Strive for balance in your fall schedule.
-
Aim to have variety in both size and type, take some small and some larger classes, and choose courses from different academic areas including the quantitative sciences, social science, humanities or natural sciences.
- Consider how your courses are spread out during the week. If you like a lot of structure, schedule classes on most days, if you prefer more open time, look at fitting your courses on fewer days of the week.
-
Not a morning person? Find more afternoon classes.
- Build in time for meals, getting back and forth from East to West, and focusing on your self-care.
