Chronic Consequences of Global Infectious Diseases Conference at Vanderbilt: Registration Open
This conference will highlight successful models for intervention and discuss global implementation to prevent and control infection-related chronic consequences in low-resource settings. Attendees will include U.S. and international researchers, clinicians, policymakers, funding partners, and others working at the interface between infectious and chronic diseases. Vanderbilt Global Surgery Website Unveiled
The Vanderbilt Global Surgery Program (VGS) has launched a new website. Currently, more than 60 Vanderbilt faculty are working in the realm of global surgery, anesthesia and emergency medicine. They are providing surgical care and safe anesthesia, obstetric and emergency medical services at facilities located in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and many of them are providing education and training. The website highlights global surgery projects and provides a central portal for communication within the Vanderbilt community. Visit the new Global Surgery website to learn more.
