How do we celebrate supporting 650 teen moms through the gospel? By sharing stories of generational transformation and first-time commitments to Jesus at YoungLives camps around the world. Nearly 400 childcare workers have served faithfully through seven weeks of camp.
• At Lost Canyon in Arizona, a group of moms, mentors, childcare volunteers and babies from Alaska journeyed for two days with multiple chartered planes, commercial flights and bus rides to get to camp. Thanks to the committed staff and volunteers, and the generous donors who committed end-of-life gifts to make this trip possible. You have to see this video from their trip!
• At Carolina Point in North Carolina, 14 adult guests witnessed the power of God's grace as young mothers processed what it means to be fully known and loved by God. The speaker, Bebe Hobson, shared about how our need for God is really what makes a way for us to be touched by Him. We saw lives change right before our eyes.
• And at Lake Champion in upstate New York, we kick off the last camp of the season. Please be praying for the moms, babies, mentors, childcare and camp teams as they prepare in the next few days. You can see all of the camp locations and dates here.
God is so cool the way He weaves our lives together through this ministry! Please continue to pray and give as we have one more week of camp this summer to serve over 800 teen mothers and their babies. We believe this one week will make generational impact.
Gratefully,
