(CEE) was recently awarded a five-year CAREER grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF). CAREER grants are NSF’s most prestigious awards for early-career faculty. She is the sixth CAREER grant recipient on faculty at our college since 2020. (Look for an upcoming PSU news story about all the incredible CAREER winners at Maseeh and CLAS.)

- Elizabeth Stock (MESA) received a $20,000 grant from Oregon Museum of Science & Industry for the research "Wildfire and Human Health in a Changing Climate."

Native and Indigenous student community of Maseeh College gathered at NASCC recently to foster community among students, faculty, staff, and community members from Native and Indigenous backgrounds, including but not limited to Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.

- Dean Joe Bull
was in Salem last week testifying in support of HB 4154, the Semiconductor Talent & Workforce Package. He was especially excited to talk with Oregon State Representative Annessa Hartman, a member of the Haudenosaunee, Cayuga Nation, Snipe Clan, and the third Indigenous person elected to the Oregon House of Representatives.
