Our rising 5th and 6th graders had a great time swimming at the Kiser's Sunday night! We are thankful for the bonds forming between them. Our prayer is they will also know they are seen, loved and claimed by God!

Dear Parkway Hills Family,

Thank you so much for all you did for me and my family during this major transition in our lives. We were all blown away by your generosity, love and support on June 18th. It was an amazing send-off! I LOVE my new guitar. It's the nicest instrument I've ever put my hands on. Jen, Tripp, and Susannah so appreciate the checks they were presented, as well as the blankets and beautiful Parkway Hills necklace pendants.
     We are all adjusting to our new community and church here in Hattiesburg. I very much enjoyed my first Sunday of worship with Parkway Heights, and the people here have been extremely gracious.
     Please know that I pray very often for you. I've received many reports that you are off to a great start with Dawn and her amazing family, just as I expected.
     I will always cherish the time we had together. I learned so much from you about what it means to be the body of Christ. Anything I'm able to accomplish in my new setting here in Hattiesburg will be because you helped me grow into a stronger leader and pastor, and a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
     Never forget that you have a special gift to offer the world at Parkway Hills. Continue to strive to be the most authentic version of yourself. Continue to believe that, because of Christ, the best is yet to come. I know that God is changing lives at Parkway Hills, because He changed mine. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

PHUMC Youth are planning a mission retreat July 21st - 23rd at Seashore Assembly in Biloxi. Activities include with-God's-help-we-can-make-a-real-difference-here mission work during the day, and bonfire-on-the-beach-friendship-and-fun in the evenings. If you are interested, get your registration and $30 deposit to Angie Williams TODAY! Why not bring it to the Bible Study TONIGHT? That's right, all youth are invited to a Bible Study at the Norris' home tonight at 6:00 pm. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS Matthew Kirk will lead the group, and dinner is provided.

Men's Ministry Road Trip: We'll leave from the church parking lot Saturday, July 22nd at 8:00 am, arrive at Middendorf's right when they open, then spend the rest of the afternoon at the World War II Museum. We plan to leave the museum and head home at 5:00 pm. If you are interested, RSVP to Brandon Jones ASAP!

How interesting to learn a little more about James Pickle! Each week during children's moments, another child will have the opportunity to share with Dawn (and the rest of us), about their favorite things. What a great way to begin to see, love and claim each other!
