PSU President Cudd urges everyone to participate in strategic planning |
PSU is creating a strategic plan — a map — to navigate its future. In order for the plan to be successful in identifying and pursuing the university’s strengths, wide participation is needed. On her blog, President Cudd urged the PSU community to RSVP for one of three upcoming engagement events. At each event, community members will learn what strategic planning means for PSU, then gather in small groups with fellow students, staff, faculty, and community members to discuss what makes PSU special and how we can better live up to the values we hold as a community. Organizers will also report out on the themes that emerged from the Heart of PSU survey.
Sessions are held in-person at the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom:
Monday, Feb. 12 (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
Thursday, Feb. 15 (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.)
Wednesday, Feb. 21 (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.)

Donate your instruments to Music Education |
Do you have a musical instrument that you no longer use? PSU’s Music Education program can put it in good hands! Music Education Majors must learn to play many musical instruments as they prepare for a career as a music teacher. The cost of instrument purchase and rental is a burden that you can help alleviate while earning yourself a tax deduction. We are currently seeking acoustic guitars, orchestral strings, woodwinds, and brass instruments, but not pianos. All instruments will be donated to the School of Music and Theater and will be checked out to students for their use in instrumental techniques courses. For more information or to arrange a donation, please contact Mari Schay (mschay@pdx.edu) or Ed Protzman (protzman@pdx.edu).
