Family buffers: Psychologist studies how siblings can bolster the mental health of immigrants

More than a dozen graduate and undergraduate psychology students are working with Jenny Padilla, an assistant professor of psychology. Padilla works out of the William J. Shaw Center for Children and Families, researching Latino family relationships.

Solar eclipse-focused events lead up to watch party on April 8

Theres still time to catch some events around the upcoming total solar eclipse. The College of Science is hosting several events, including an eclipse watch party scheduled on Monday, April 8. Each event is free and open to the public.

Spring Staff Unity Summit features Olympian John Carlos

The Spring Staff Unity Summit takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the Downes Ballroom in Corbett Family Hall. The summit serves as an opportunity to meet and interact with other employees, have lunch and explore the steps necessary to create the Beloved Community here at ND. On Saturday, March 23, more than 550 University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Holy Cross College students took part in Back the Bend, an annual day of service in and around South Bend.

New Youth Protection Policy and registration portal launched

Youth visiting University facilities or participating in University programs and activities require particular attention in order to protect their safety and well-being. All youth programs must register with the Office of Institutional Equity through a streamlined portal, accessible via SSO.
