Under the tutelage of Valor’s film program, Mikey Hardesty ‘20 was inspired to utilize his talents to make an impact for those in the local community experiencing hopelessness.

Coming Up

Fall Festival Week - October 26-30

This week is the first-ever Fall Festival Week, put on by Valor Student Leadership Board. Besides daily “spirit“ dress-up days and fun lunch-time activities, this fall-themed week will include:
  • Monday: Annual Powder Puff Girls Flag Football tournament 
  • Wednesday: Holy Ghost Worship Night outside with hot cocoa
  • Thursday: Fall Spikeball tournament, the Powder Puff Championship game, and a fall-themed movie night
  • Friday: After school festival with carnival-style games, contests and fall-themed food, followed by a watch party for the Fall Festival Football game including our 2020 Fall Royalty winners

Discovery Night - November 4

Attend Discovery Night to learn more about this year’s spring and summer experiences, including 19 local & national teams and 15 international teams. Applications for these teams are now open until November 18. This year’s Discovery Night is a student-only event. Teams will be selected and announced on December 4.

One-Man Showcase - November 5, 6, & 7

Enjoy advanced student actors performing 10-minute stories as the people they are passionate about from history, politics, and entertainment. The actors have written these monologues based on their in-depth research about the subjects. Showtimes are 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on November 7. Tickets are $5 at the door.

If your student took one or both of the ACT tests at Valor, the scores may not appear in the current ACT account that you or your student created. Please read this document closely in order to understand how to have these scores reported in the ACT student account.

Bushels of Thanks - Join Staff and Faculty Appreciation

To show our appreciation for staff and faculty, the VPA is creating a special fall event by decorating the staff lounge and treating them to breakfast on Thursday, October 29. You can help by donating to the cost of the event or signing up to bring a treat.

Football Gate Volunteers Needed
