Electric Vehicle Owners and Operators:
We hope that your winter quarter is going smoothly. We want to inform you about a temporary disruption in the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure on our campus.
Due to essential upgrades, there will be intermittent interruptions in the availability of on-campus EV charging stations until mid-April 2024. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and want to assure you that these disruptions are necessary to enhance the overall reliability and performance of our charging infrastructure.
The affected EV charging sites are:
- Scholars Parking Garage
- Scripps MCTF (Marine Conservation and Technology Facility)
- P357 Parking Lot (Rady)
- Torrey Pines South Garage
- Campus Point East
- Campus Point West
- Mesa Nueva
During this period, we recommend planning your charging needs accordingly, exploring alternative on-campus charging locations and charging your vehicle off-campus. On-site signage at each location will provide more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our EV charging facilities.
