Dear Parents,
This month, we continue to highlight our staff in the section below. I love reading their fun facts! You can check out our Instagram to see last month's staff highlights in our Stories.
It's been a month of sporadic classes with the holidays. We are looking forward to seeing everyone this week for our first full week back. We missed our students and the routine of the classes. Don't forget that students can come in costume for Halloween or in blue for Discovery spirit this week.
We are working on our Winter Dance Concert details. It's not too late to join one of our dance classes and have your child perform in the show on Sunday, December 15th! We are also starting new Hip Hop monthly pop-up classes on Tuesdays next month (more information here). We are looking forward to seeing how that takes off. Our goal is to offer more monthly pop-ups! Reach out if your child is interested.
Warm Wishes,
Katie Kheel

"What got me started in gymnastics was one day when I was just a young child, I saw Nadia Comaneci on TV and was in absolute awe. Right away I fell in love with the sport and wanted to be just like Nadia. Immediately without even being taught, I started doing splits, handstands and cartwheels around the house. This drove my family crazy. After breaking a few of my mom's favorite little figurines, a lamp, and the leg of her coffee table, my mom enrolled me in recreational gymnastics at the local YMCA in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn."
