The Culloden Clovers 4-H Club in West Virginia is embarking on an exciting nationwide adventure! Our mission is to exchange letters with 4-H clubs across the United States and collect responses from all 50 states. This will be our 2026 Group project!

Our Quest Includes:
📬 Sending introduction letters to 4-H clubs nationwide
📍 Tracking responses on a giant U.S. map
🌎 Learning about communities, agriculture, traditions, and landmarks across America
🤝 Building friendships with fellow 4-H members
📚 Practicing communication, geography, and leadership skills

Each letter we receive will:

⭐ Teach them something new about America
⭐ Bring them one step closer to completing their quest

Parasite Patrol is a workshop designed to give sheep and goat producers (or project members!) a deeper understanding of what is happening inside their animals and how to respond effectively.

Workshop participants walk through the life cycle of gastrointestinal nematodes, building critical awareness of when animals are most at risk, and explore how anthelmintic resistance develops and why many operations are seeing reduced dewormer effectiveness.

Bring a fresh fecal sample from your sheep or goats (collected within 24 hours, kept cool but not frozen).

The time is approaching to submit your club record books to the Extension Brown County 4-H Office.  Books are due from each club on or before September 15, 2026.  Points will be deducted for turning in late books.

Approved Volunteers: Become an instructor or add an additional discipline certification.

Come spend the day learning from extremely knowledgeable state-level instructors, many of whom are Level 2 National 4-H Certified Instructors, with decades of combined experience to share! Becoming a qualified instructor does not mean you need extensive experience or background knowledge. This training will prepare participants to help lead or support an existing Shooting Sports program. Only one discipline may be completed per workshop.

Attention Dairy Project Members:

Applications are now being accepted to the National 4-H Dairy Conference at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI which is a part of the World Dairy Expo.  Dairy youth ages 15-18 are encouraged to apply. The conference runs September 27-30, 2026.  Cost will be $700 and state scholarships are available.

Please be aware that conference delegates may participate in the National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, but are not eligible to exhibit cattle at the World Dairy Expo due to time constraints.

Ignite, a National 4-H event, is back March 15-21, 2027 in Washington, D.C. and WI 4-H wants to send delegations to one of the following tracks:

The Weaver Awards honor individuals and groups who are building trust, belonging, and connection in Northeast Wisconsin.  20+ recipients – individuals or small grassroots groups -- will be selected to receive $2,500 - $5,000 each to support their work to foster connections.  Annually for at least four years, we will be awarding $60,000 across our region.

Applications are open until August 31, 2026. Funded activities can take many forms and serve many purposes (community gardens, youth mentorship, neighborhood projects, public art...your imagination is the limit!), but at their core they are also about fostering relationships among participants that are local, mutual, inclusive, and sustained. 

The application is simple, asking questions about the people involved, the project, and the community, with no need for a detailed budget.  

NeighborWorks Green Bay -- with collaborators The Canary Fund and Basic Needs Giving Partnership -- is one of 25 Community Hosts across the nation of the Weaver Awards, an initiative of Weave: The Social Fabric Project at The Aspen Institute.   

Registrations are available to WI 4-H Dog Project Members for the 2026 State 4-H Dog Agility Show.

Enrollment/Re-enrollment opens September 3, 2026!

Peshtigo National Bank is now accepting applications for its 2026 Fair Project Scholarship Program, supporting youth exhibitors participating in county fairs throughout Marinette, Oconto, Brown, Portage, Marathon, Shawano, and Langlade counties.

Now in its third year, the program recognizes the hard work, responsibility, and commitment required to raise and care for livestock and other animal projects.  During the program's first two years, Peshtigo National Bank awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships annually to youth exhibitors across its service area.

Eligible exhibitors showing livestock, poultry, rabbits, or other animal projects are encouraged to apply.  Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their dedication to their projects and involvement in agriculture.

Applications must be submitted by August 28, 2026.

If interested, please register to ensure adequate supplies. Youth may attend any number of meetings!

4-H at YWCA is open to youth grades K-12 and is held the second Tuesday of the month 5:30-6:30pm, with at different activity at each meeting. Previous activities included:  screen printing, brush bots, elephant toothpaste, paper rockets, and archery. 

Membership in 4-H or YWCA is not required.
