Dear Wagner Alumni,
As the weather slowly gets warmer, it brings with it the anticipation of all the happenings of the spring—beginning with Spring Break later this month and concluding eventually with Convocation and Commencement in May. We will also have the pleasure of officially celebrating the opening of our new space with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 12, which will bring a number of esteemed guests to our 17th Street home. We will be sending out a livestream link for you to tune in.
Wagner will also be at the forefront of New York City politics on March 20, when we host a mayoral candidate forum in our Main Event Space. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring these important discussions on the future of our city to our community. This event is being organized by the Black Student Association, Wagner City Government, the Urban Planning Student Association, NYU Democrats, and Jones Strategy & Consulting Group.
Here are more of this month’s happenings and highlights:
Highlights- On February 25, NYU Wagner partnered with The Century Foundation to host “NYC Congestion Pricing is Working. So Why Is It Under Attack?” The panel discussion—Wagner’s first evening event in our new space—drew a packed house for a rousing discussion on a timely topic.
