UO EVENTS
  • Join the UO Irish Music Ensemble for an evening of toe-tapping jigs, heartfelt ballads, and rousing pub songs tonight at 6:00 in the Collier House.
  • Find some inspiration viewing Amy Dessert’s ceramic work at the Craft Center Gallery in the EMU. The winter Visiting Artist Exhibit is still on display today and Friday, March 21.
  • Watch the Chilean group Pascuala Ilabaca y Fauna at WOW Hall on Saturday, March 22, at 8:00 p.m. Get tickets at the UO Ticket Office in the EMU: $25 in advance.
  • Register for the virtual workshop for graduate students Designing Your Future for PhDs: A Primer. Join on Thursday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific daylight time to help you design a satisfying, integrated life during and after graduate school.
NOTEWORTHY
  • Stop by the Student Sustainability Center office (005 EMU) to learn about ways to get involved through spring term volunteer opportunities! From habitat restoration to food equity, event planning, and more, come connect with peers on fun projects.
  • Get up to $150 for various school supplies with the Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy. The application for spring term will be available Monday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m.
  • For students who need their grades and/or GPA for this term, use the “Hold for Grades” option when ordering transcripts through Parchment. Transcripts will be sent two days after the grading deadline for instructors.
  • Incomplete requests must be submitted prior to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Approvals are not automatic; communicate with your instructor until the decision and incomplete contract, if approved, are finalized.
  • The ROSE Room is open today from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in 182 Prince Lucien Campbell Hall. You’ll find free school supplies, office items, clothing, home goods, and more.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • Today is the last day before spring term to pick up some free grocery items at the Student Food Pantry. Bring a bag with you to Grace Lutheran Church (710 East 17th Avenue) between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.
