Military Family Holiday Event |

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, Calumet County 4-H and Brown County 4-H partnered to volunteer for the Holiday Extravaganza, an event held for the families of Wisconsin's National Guard 2-127 who are currently deployed.
The 4-H team ran the cookie decorating and button making tables, while being able to share more about Operation Clover Club, the new military family 4-H club.

Join our brand-new 4-H Club created for any youth with a parent, guardian, caregiver, or sibling in the military! Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026 10am-3pm at the STEM Innovation Center located in Green Bay.
Enjoy exciting, hands-on activities that YOU help choose. It’s a great way to connect, create, and explore together!

Winter Academy consists of three virtual sessions which provide youth with tools to set career and college goals, develop soft skills most important to employers, and build problem-solving skills. By applying, youth agree to actively participate in all three sessions live.
Winter Academy 2026 is limited to 20 youth participants and registration closes January 11, 2026.

Registration for Space Camp 2026 is STILL open until December 15 through 4HOnline! Youth who have not previously participated in Space Camp and are in grades 6-8 are encouraged to register. During this educational experience, which takes place on April 23-27, 2026, youth will learn more about aerospace, STEM, explore Space Camp, meet new people, and more!

The Communications, Media & Marketing Team is seeking youth in grades 9–12 who want to bring creative ideas to life. Members help craft messages, create content, and share the 4-H story through media and design.
Applications are open for the State Art Ambassadors as well as the other Ambassador Teams until December 15.

Brown County Fair YQCA & Educational Day |

The Brown County Livestock & Dairy Auction Committee invites all interested to be a part of our upcoming Informational Meeting/ In person YQCA Training/ Educational Event/Proficiency Contest on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Bay Port High School (2710 Lineville Road, Green Bay, WI 54313) from 7:00 am - 11:45 am. Everyone is invited: parents, students, past exhibitors, etc. All interested for the 2026 year are welcome.
NEW THIS YEAR:
1. We request all families/ attendees bring a computer or tablet. We will use this during the informational meeting.
2. If you have a new email address or will no longer have access to email (Example: graduating) please create a NEW account with the NEW email. Do not use your old account.
Registration for the YQCA portion for the January 17th event is REQUIRED by January 2nd, 2026.
Students can register for the meeting on the YQCA website. When choosing the course, please use the exhibitor's age as of January 1, 2026. If a student is 18 years old, they must complete the online training and are not able to earn the certificate by attending the in person YQCA training.
After registering, exhibitors must complete the Pre Test within the YQCA website. After the training, exhibitors must complete the Post Test within the YQCA website. If the Pre Test and Post Test are not complete, you will not be able to access your YQCA certificate post training.
All requirements and directions needed to be auction eligible are located in the Auction Portal and will be updated for the 2026 year by January 1st. Please wait to log into the portal until after December 31 for a fully updated portal.
All questions about the auction eligibility process will be answered at our event on January 17th. There will not be a make-up date for this event. Students unable to attend the day must complete the online YQCA and a different educational event option, listed within the portal.

Scholarships for Graduates |
Graduating 4-H members are eligible and encouraged to apply for the Brown County 4-H Scholarship. Applications must be received by the Extension Office by March 1, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted. Guidelines and the application form are available on the 4-H website. Reading and following the directions carefully is recommended as the judges consider these criteria when scoring applications.
