2016 started out on an epic foot for 360MV with a trip to a location we've long wanted to explore, Iceland. The crew headed to the "Land of Fire and Ice" to shoot the Iceland Winter Games, set in the northernmost region of the country. For a week 360MV was embedded with the U.S. and European teams including Olympian Scotty Lago, as they searched for new Icelandic mountain lines accessible only via heli, CAT, snowmobile and boat.
Next up were two shoots for Subaru of America -The first, a climbing expedition in the Canyonlands of Utah where we shot with legendary female climber Kitty Calhoun and shortly after we headed to the Snowbird backcountry with renowned skier and entrepreneur Julian Carr as he attempted to ski a remote line he'd long wanted to conquer.
Finally, we rounded out the spring with two simultaneous shoots on opposite coasts- a fatbike expedition at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon and an FKT (Fastest Known Time) attempt of the Presidential Traverse in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
