Our May communion offering will support the Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area 2024 Women Build and Faith Build.  Our goal is to provide $1,000 to both builds as well as aid with the actual building so be on the lookout for the workdays. As of today, we have surpassed our goal, with $2,317 collected. Thank you for your generosity!
The Women Build will provide a home for Adrianne Davis and her 2 children; Kynedi (6) and Ky’Melvin (2). Adrianne is a single mother working as a  Warehouse Associate at Amazon earning $2,405 per month. Currently she resides in a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom trailer home paying $480 per month. The home is very old with water leaks throughout and the plumbing is quickly deteriorating. What a gift for Ms. Davis to have an affordable house that she can call her own.
The Faith Build will provide a home for Tiffany Griffin and her son Brayden (14). Tiffany is a Bus Operator at Jatran and earns $2,765 per month. Currently, Ms. Griffin lives in a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment paying $720 per month. The apartment is not in good condition with major foundation and structural issues. The floors are in desperate need of repair, are very weak and beginning to rot. The lack of maintenance needs around the complex is also a great concern for the family. A new home would be a blessing indeed!
