This weekend, as America celebrates the birth of our country, we remember the millions of Americans whose lives have been lost due to abortion - who were not allowed to take hold of the "pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness" to which all Americans are entitled.
We remember the women who are even now, over this holiday, making a choice about their preborn children.
We pray for "Keesha," who is 14. Even though Keesha wants to carry, her mother is encouraging abortion.
We pray for "Erin," who doesn't want to abort, but feels guilty about the stress this will cause the father of her baby.
We pray for the woman who called us last week, 8 weeks pregnant with twins, and determined to have an abortion.
We pray for "Elissa," who has decided to carry, but has little support from her family.
Join us as we pray for these women - and for all of our clients. Pray:
- for their hearts to be softened towards the precious lives they are carrying,
- for the men in their lives to understand their calling as men and to protect and support these mothers and their preborn babies,
- for each of these women to be surrounded by people who will come alongside them with support, encouragement and practical help,
- and for each of these young women to turn their eyes and hope towards their Father in Heaven, who will never abandon hem, no matter what the circumstances.
