Rancho Performance Suspension and Shocks is celebrating their 60th year in the automotive aftermarket industry...since 1955! To celebrate this special anniversary year, Rancho wanted to bring together the off-roaders who come to town for the Red Rock 4-Wheelers Easter Jeep Safari, and the locals in and around the city of Moab who, each and every year, welcome all the vendors and participants to their beautiful destination, off-roading mecca.
This will be the Red Rock 4-Wheelers 49th year hosting EJS, an event that has gained national recognition. The concert is FREE with a $5 “appreciation” donation. One hundred percent of the donation will go towards the Grand County High School Athletics programs (Moab High School).
"The chance to bring together the Moab community with the attendees of Easter Jeep Safari for one night really excited me," said Chris Gauss, director of performance products, Rancho Performance Suspension & Shocks and DynoMax Performance Exhaust. "We wanted to do an event that allowed us to give back to this town that gives so much to us.   I can't think of a better way then an evening together of music, food, family and fun under the stars."
"The Red Rock 4 Wheelers are excited to add more family-related fun to the Jeep Safari experience and look forward to an evening of music after a day on the trails or attending the Safari Expo," said Rex Holman, Treasurer, Red Rock 4-Wheelers.
"Discount Tire is pleased to present the Rancho Rocks Moab concert at the 2015 Easter Jeep Safari," said Mark MacGuinness, Vice President of Discount Tire Direct.  "Since Moab residents open their town to the tens of thousands of people who attend EJS every year, we jumped at the chance to help give something back. It's an honor to raise funds for the kids in the Grand County Athletic programs, and we hope to bring together the residents and visitors of Moab for a great family event."
EVENT T-SHIRT
T-shirts will be for sale on-site during the concert.
DISCOUNT TIRE ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Discount Tire and staff will be on hand scooping out delicious Blue Bunny ice cream. One hundred percent of the $1 single serve cones will go towards the Grand County High School Athletics programs.
DYNOMAX BURGERS & RANCHO HOT DOGS
Can't have a gathering with friends and family without great food, and who better to serve fresh-off-the-grille hot dogs and hamburgers than the crew from DynoMax Performance Exhaust and feature sponsor Rancho Performance Suspension & Shocks. Burger or hot dog, bag of chips, soft drink and Snickers bar for only $5. One hundred percent of each meal sold will go towards the Grand County High School Athletics programs.
Why are all the donations going towards the Grand County High School Athletics Programs?
"During one of my visits to Moab working on the details of the concert with my promoting partner (Nick Oldroyd), he told me that the high school basketball team had to decide between new uniforms or enough basketballs to practice with for the season," said Ryan Hagel, Owner of RCH Designs, LLC.  "School athletics was a huge part of my life growing up, and to see budgets being cut to the point that kids these days either have to pay their own way to play or programs end up getting cancelled altogether, is just not right.  Putting on a concert where any funds generated at the event will help the teams at Moab High School is worth every hour and dollar all of us have put into this. None of which would be possible without the amazing sponsors  we have helping put this on."
"Seeing first hand the support of these people and their companies; RCH Designs, Rancho, DynoMax, Discount Tire, Falken Tire, Pirate4x4.com, and J.W. Speaker, who are all outsiders to the town of Moab, yet are willing to not only give money, but their time to put on an event to benefit those locally is unbelievable," said Nick Oldroyd, Co-Owner of Twisted Jeep Rentals and Freshman Basketball Coach. "Makes me proud as an owner of Twisted Jeep Rentals to associate our business with these companies and to be a local in the beautiful city of Moab."
So to all locals and visitors alike...come celebrate, have a good time and listen to some live music!
