Planning to tap into Marcom in the New Year? We have created a new request form in Lytho for better results |
The Radford University Office of Marketing and Communication is looking forward to working with our internal partners in the New Year to improve communication and collaboration – one of the six themes in the university’s new strategic plan. One of the best ways for us to accomplish this is to do more critical thinking upfront with clients about your requests.
Toward that end, we’ve created a new request form in Lytho (called Marketing and Communication Support) to help us understand the goals of each request, along with target audiences, key messages and desired tactics, as well as how each request is aligned with larger college/division initiatives and/or university priorities. The enhanced form, which replaces the Multi-deliverable Form and the Single Deliverable Form, will allow us to prioritize requests that most directly align with the university’s new strategic plan.
As you submit general Lytho requests for Marcom support this year, please do your best to provide as much of this information upfront as possible. And feel free to contact Cecelia Crow at ccrow@radford.edu if you have questions about or need help completing the form.

Affordable course material resources available through University Libraries |
|
|
College course materials can be an expensive obstacle for many students. That's why University Libraries is offering the opportunity for faculty on the main campus to use the Course Reserves Request Form for library or personally owned physical materials that you’d like students to access whenever the library is open.
If you have picked up a class last-minute, you can find no-cost library and Open Educational Resources (OER) course materials via the library’s online resources and learn how to add library sources into D2L.
If you’re thinking ahead to future semester course schedules, inform the bookstore and the registrar if you are keeping a course’s materials free or under $40. This lets students know in advance that they can anticipate low materials costs for a specific course, removing some anxiety as they budget.

Performance plan reminders from the Office of Human Resources |
|
|
The Radford University Office of Human Resources would like to remind supervisors of the following performance plan deadlines and provide guidance on resources to help complete these reviews.
2025 classified performance deadline and 2026 launch date
As a reminder, classified staff performance evaluations were due Dec. 31, 2025. Any plans not in the “Complete – HR Reviews” status are now overdue. Please log into the Employee Performance Dashboard in OneCampus and complete any self-evaluations and/or supervisor evaluations. If you encounter any issues completing the evaluations, reach out to hr@radford.edu and include "Performance Management" in the subject line.
This year’s classified performance plans will be launched on Friday, Jan. 23, for all classified employees who have a completed 2025 performance review. Please ensure that any overdue performance evaluations are completed and any position description modifications are approved prior to this date to avoid delays in launching.
Administrative/professional faculty performance plan reminder
Performance plans for administrative/professional (A/P) faculty should now be at the “Mid-Year Review” status as of Jan. 6. Supervisors, please hold a meeting to discuss your employees’ performance so far in the performance cycle. After meeting, log in to the Employee Performance Dashboard in OneCampus, include any notes/documentation from this meeting and have the employee and you acknowledge it in the system. If any A/P plan is not in the “Mid-Year Review” status, reach out to hr@radford.edu and include “Performance Management” in the subject line.
Training is being offered, both in person and via Zoom, for anyone who needs a refresher on the performance management system. Please visit the Training and Development webpage to sign up for a session.
