We have raised more than $85,000 towards our goal of $180,000! Help us reach our goal by sending out a link to your fundraising page, posting on social media and planning a fundraiser with your friends, family and colleagues. And don't forget to ask your donors to apply for matching gifts from their companies to double their donations! Thank you to everyone who is making a big push this week! We have raised $15,000 in the last 5 days and we have 5 days before our event. Let's get at least another $15,000 in the next 5 days to hit over $100,000 raised before event day!
We have 263 climbers and 44 teams registered so far! That is more climbers and teams than last year, and over halfway to our goal of 500 climbers.
|
We will be awarding our top fundraising team, largest team and top 3 fastest male and female climbers at the after party. NEW this year, we will have awards for the Most Team Spirit and Most Creative Team Name! Coordinate with your team on outfits. Check out the live leaderboard as the top spot keeps changing with your fundraising!

What to Expect at Seattle CF StairClimb |
Photos from the 2024 Seattle CF StairClimb
Getting There & Parking
All participants (even non-drivers) must enter the event through the skybridge connected to the Mariners Garage at 301 Edgar Martinez Drive. Take the elevator garage to the 5th floor to cross the skybridge into the club level for check in. Drivers can park in the garage for $20. You can leave your car in the Mariners Garage through the after party. Light rail riders can follow CFF arrow signs to get to the garage. This walking map shows the best way to go.
Check-In
Participants who have already registered will check-in to receive their bib. Participants who have raised $100 or more will earn an event t-shirt.
We will have a bib-pinning station on the 300 level where you can select your pace group by putting a colored sticker on your bib.
Registration
Participants who are not registered will need to go in the "day-of registration" line to fill out paperwork and pay the $75 registration fee to participate. Please plan to arrive by 5 p.m. to register, or better yet, register online before noon on Tuesday!
Cashless
In lieu of cash, we ask that you make all payments/contributions to the CF Foundation with a credit card or check. To speed up event check in, please send checks to the office at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - StairClimb, 400 University St., 3rd Floor; Seattle, WA 98101 prior to the event or download the Cure 4 CF mobile app and use the mobile check deposit feature. We will NOT accept cash at the event.
What to Bring
Please plan to dress for the weather and in comfortable shoes and athletic wear. Be sure to bring layers in preparation for changing weather.
Clear game day bags are recommended, and water bottles will be allowed at this event. All guests will be subject to a security screening that includes bag checks and walk-through metal detectors. While we will not follow T-Mobile's Bag Policy quite as strictly as on a game day, you can use it as a guide when considering what to bring.
Rain or Shine
This event is a rain or shine event, so please dress and prepare accordingly. Luckily T-Mobile Park has a roof that can be closed if needed. If you have any concerns about severe weather, you can call our office at 206-282-4770.
Route
Climb up and down 1,500 steps for the full route and 750 steps for the half route. Check out the map. Climbers will go up one aisle, across the back of the seats, down the next aisle and across the front of the seats for an up-over-down-over pattern. Full route climbers can expect to climb UP 750 stairs and DOWN 750 stairs.
Last year, our fastest climber finished in under 8 minutes! Most climbers took about 10-25 minutes to complete the climb. Check out last year's results. Climbers will be sent out in waves with the fastest climbers going first. The course will close 35 minutes after the last climber is sent out. Participants must be out of T-Mobile Park by 7:30 p.m. After you complete the climb, head to the after party at The Hall!
Teams
Teams do not need to climb together and can do different routes (half or full). We ask climbers to self-identify what pace group they will climb in (Sprinters, Joggers, Walkers, and Tourists) by putting a colored sticker on their bib. We will send the fastest group out first. Your teammates can start at different times and meet up at the finish line when everyone in your group is done.
Spectators
People can watch you climb, but they must register as a spectator at https://fundraise.cff.org/seattleclimb
Age Restrictions
Participants under the age of 14 are not allowed to complete the Seattle CF StairClimb. All minors (Children ages 14 - 16) can participate with an adult. Children ages 16 and over can participate without an adult. All attendees must register at https://fundraise.cff.org/seattleclimb.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at T-Mobile Park for this event.
Food
Swire Coca-Cola will provide water at the start, halfway point and finish line. We will not provide food at T-Mobile Park, however you can purchase food and drinks at the after party at The Hall.
