Demolition is underway on the four north tennis courts at the Community Center.

Lower Level of Community Center to Open in Early March

The Community Center's lower level renovations are expected to be finished in early March, and the upper (main) level construction will start soon after. Some of the site work is also underway, including the demolition of the four north tennis courts. The lower level transformation includes having one contiguous level of fitness facilities. The racquetball floors were raised, and the locker rooms were reconfigured. There’s a dedicated cardio area and a larger group exercise room. Many ‘behind the scenes’ improvements were also included such as new electrical panels and lighting, replacement of older plumbing, and a greater level of insulation. A new LULA (Limited Use Limited Access) elevator will also make the lower level and the Dakota Room accessible. The biggest benefit of the Community Center’s lower level will be the incorporation of new fitness equipment. Once the equipment is installed, and all inspections have passed, the lower level will re-open to the residents of Ken-Caryl Ranch. If you have any questions, please email bondprojects@kcranch.org.

CodeRed Emergency Notification System in Jefferson County

The CodeRed Emergency Notification System is available to all residents of Jefferson County, including Ken-Caryl Ranch. CodeRed is used by law enforcement, fire departments and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies to alert residents of emergencies in their area, including wildfire evacuation notices. Landline phone numbers are automatically included in the CodeRed database, but Jefferson County residents and businesses must register their mobile phone numbers or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone numbers to receive emergency notifications. If you don’t have a traditional landline phone, or would like to receive a text, email or cell phone call in addition to the call on your landline phone, consider registering for this free service at www.your911.net.
