Summer Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium
 
The Office of Undergraduate Research will host the symposium on July 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in D.H. Hill Library. All are invited to learn from the 362 students presenting their research.
 
 
 
 
Call for Packapalooza™ Volunteers
 
Volunteers are needed for Packapalooza™ on Aug. 26 between 6 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Tasks include: giving directions, assisting patrons, staffing tables, moving supplies from point to point, directing traffic, assisting with zone management, and more.

  • Join Prevention Services and campus partners for programming throughout July in recognition of BIPOC Mental Health Month. Honoring Bebe Moore Campbell, this month honors and centers the experiences of Black, Indigenous and people of color by raising awareness about the unique struggles that underrepresented groups face regarding mental health.   • The Office of Undergraduate Courses, Curricula, and Academic Standards hosts open office hours Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom for faculty and staff to discuss the approval process, CIM for Course and/or CIM for Programs, and other questions.
  • NC State’s Office of Information Technology has recently published guidance on using ChatGPT and AI software with university data.
  • The Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes (ASPSA) is hiring for a variety of part-time positions for the fall semester including tutors in all content areas, academic mentors, and writing assistants. Please visit the ASPSA website for detailed job descriptions and to apply.
  • University Housing has a limited number of on-campus spaces available. We encourage any student interested in potentially living on-campus for the coming year to fill out a Housing Application through their MyPack Portal as soon as possible.

  • Catch these exhibitions before they close in July! Jillian Sortore’s exhibition, Plume, is on view at the Crafts Center through July 27. True Likeness is on view at the Gregg through July 22.
