U Giving Day 2019

For the first time ever, The U is hosting a university-wide giving day! Support the next generation of Utes by donating to Eccles student scholarships. Adding to the excitement, alumnus Nick Boris and Merrick Bank will donate an additional $25,000 to the Eccles School if we reach our goal of 250 donors by the end of the campaign. Welcome Lianna Kinard

Please join us in welcoming Lianna as our new Chairman of the Board for the David Eccles School of Business Alumni Board.

Lianna is Vice President of Marketing for Buckner Company, an insurance broker located in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a graduate of the David Eccles School of Business, where she received a BA in Marketing. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Liberal Arts in General Management from Harvard University.

Business Scholars Innovation Showcase

94 teams competed in the Business Scholars Innovation Showcase in April at Lassonde Studios. Each of the teams consisted of first-year Business Scholar students. The teams spent months developing their ideas before competing for prizes including Best Idea, Best Pitch, Best Prototype and Best Branding!
