Join this ride if you are a new cyclist looking to familiarize yourself with biking in New York City. We’ll take you on a loop around Governors Island, stopping to point out several organizations on the island that support sustainability. If you don’t have your own bike, free Citi Bike day passes will be available.

Join this ride if you are an intermediate or advanced rider looking to check out the new bike lane on the Brooklyn Bridge. A limited number of free bike rentals will be available through Unlimited Biking.

Industry Assistant Professor, Alice Reznickova and Tandon undergraduate student, Christina Curry, will discuss their research and connections to Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Student participants will be entered into a giveaway where 2 winners will receive a sustainable food storage set! Food will also be available to participants at the conclusion of the event.

Climate change has emerged as a pivotal challenge facing cities around the world. The Henry Hart Rice Urban Policy Forum will bring two leading experts, Amy Chester and Professor Gernot Wagner to analyze what policies cities can and should pursue. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Mitchell L. Moss.
