What's New at Wilks?
We are welcoming ~60 new participants into our Leadership Certificate Program! We are so glad to have you here!
Our Student Leadership Coordinators have been hard at work planning programs and events for the fall semester! Check out our upcoming programs below!
Wilks Signature Workshop:
Leadership Journey
What: A short workshop with a focus on reflection of your personal leadership journey. Whether your leadership journey is lengthy or has just begun, come join SLCs Blake and Madeline in an interactive activity to learn more!

Who: Open to everyone!

Where: Armstrong 2074

When: Tuesday, October 3rd from 6:00–7:30 PM (tonight!)

Lessons in Leadership: 
Leadership Across the Americas
What: Interactive discussion about cultural differences in leadership between the United States and Latin American countries with faculty members Professor Julie Szucs, Dr. Jonathan Otto, and Dr. Thomas Garcia.

Who: Open to everyone!

Where: Armstrong 2078

When: Thursday, October 5th from 6:00–7:30 PM

Why: You will learn about how cultural differences influence leadership, specifically in Latin American countries, and how you can use this understanding in your leadership roles on campus as well as in any future study abroad opportunities!

Perlmutter Leadership Conference
What: FREE strengths-based leadership conference where you will take the CliftonStrengths for Students assessment beforehand, bring your results, and then participate in interactive, discussion-based activities to explore, develop, and relate your strengths so you can apply them to maximize your leadership success!

Who: Any undergraduate student can attend!

Where: McGuffey Hall

When: Sunday, October 22nd from 1:00–4:00 PM

Why: You will understand how you best work with others by recognizing how your strengths interplay with the strengths of others.  You will be able to apply your strengths to your daily life in a way that allows you to maximize your level of success around your passion!  Oh, and did we mention it’s FREE?!

Registration closes October 12th!
MPACT Leadership Retreat
What: Alternative spring break leadership retreat (formerly known as LeaderShape) during the first weekend of spring break that will focus on developing strengths!

Who: Open to everyone!

Where: Higher Ground Conference & Retreat Center 
in West Harrison, IN

When: March 17-20
