Library Stories
"I was in town visiting my daughter and I brought her a dress which was too long. We brought it too the library and Zack in BLDG61 helped us set up a sewing machine and get the dress hemmed. I was so happy that you provided this service. I work in a library in New York and would love to have a Makerspace like yours. You've done a great job and are really a wonderful benefit to your community. Thank you again! "-Janet

"I want to congratulate all the Materials Handlers at Boulder Public Library on your amazing improvements to the re-shelving rate!" -Krissy (85% of all materials returned to Boulder Public Library are now back on the shelf for checkout within 24 hours; the team was recently commended for their excellent example of process improvement within the City of Boulder)

"The Boulder Public Library staff continue to be awesome! You provide a rich source for the community and your staff adds stardust to every interaction. Recently, I was pulled into a discussion of education quality. The library supplied access to nearly 30 books which equipped me and my co-hosts for a new radio show, to ask intelligent questions of international education experts. This is just a predictable and positive experience with the BPL staff. In particular, I want to appreciate the cordial and professional nature of interactions at the checkout desk, with Melissa and Alicia. They always go the extra mile.I am grateful that you offer a priceless service to our community." -Raj
