Packing God's love in a Draw-String Bag!
Just watch this crew pack God's love into drawstring bags "assembly-line" style! 100 bags were ready to go in record time.
What a joy and priviledge to worship, take communion, and share a meal with the guests of Grace Place in Jackson this morning!  (They had a much larger than usual crowd due to the destruction of the kitchen at Gateway Rescue Mission.)  But, God provided what we needed!  There was enough food for all, plenty of hands to serve and clean up, and your generous donations provided a drawstring bag filled with care and love for each person to take away with them.  Another pressing need they have is for comfortable walking shoes - we will be planning a shoe drive soon!
This Sunday, Bruce will share the pulpit with Michelle Shrader, ordained minister and missionary to South Africa. This Sunday, Bruce has asked Michelle to allow the mighty winds of Pentecost to blow us all to the coast of Cape Town as she shares some of her experiences from serving at the Central Methodist Mission.  June's communion offering helps support Michelle, so please be generous.
Parkway Hills’ Boy Scout Troop 164
is having its annual Blueberry Fundraiser.
Freshly picked, locally grown berries are $18.00 for a whopping 5-pound box!  A great deal for ripe, plump, yummy blueberries! They will be ready for pick up from the church foyer on 
Wednesday, June 7th between 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
If you would like to order some, please seek out a Boy Scout this Sunday!  You can pay when you pick them up on Wednesday, June 7th. Remember, blueberries freeze well, so get enough to last all summer!

Women's Bible Study Begins Monday!
Beginning this Monday, June 5th, at 6:00 pm, you are invited to join other Parkway Hills Women to study 2nd Timothy, using Beth Moore's study, "Entrusted".  We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone! God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves; but we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness.
