Alumni New Year’s Resolutions

Marcus Mason, BA '01

“While building and running a business are important, special moments with family and friends are just as important…if not more. In 2020, I am resolving to be more intentional about my interactions with family and friends. There is value in those moments. They are truly special and should be cherished.”

Jeana Somers, BS '97

“With my oldest having one foot out the door looking to head off to college, I am finding that I actually have some spare time for myself. I am looking to embrace 2020 by creating and deepening connections with the people around me and showing up for my squad. Social Media is a large part of our life now in supporting those connections but in 2020, I will also be "cleansing my feed." I will be deleting anything and everything negative. My final goal is to say YES. Being a working mom, I have had to say NO so many times but I am looking forward to saying YES! Saying YES is the best way to explore opportunities and create new energy.”
