From the Dean

As the country, indeed the world, adjusts to the new “normals” dictated by the COVID-19 outbreak, we are continuing the academic and research missions of the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. This issue highlights the great work of our faculty and students. They are using cutting-edge techniques to innovate in healthcare, advanced manufacturing and environmental sustainability.

As most of you know we are delivering course content online through the end of the spring semester. University administration is continually monitoring circumstances and will make decisions based on preserving the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff. I encourage you to follow the guidance provided by federal, state and local experts and wish you and your family all the best. By working together to follow these guidelines and recommendations, we can go a long way to ensuring a successful outcome.

Be safe,

Anand Gramopadhye,
Dean
