| Favorite program on Classical KC: Evening Music with Steve Seel and Scott Blankenship is my soundtrack as I end my day.
Favorite composer:
Marten Lauridsen has to rank up there! I had a choral instructor in high school who loved his works and his music sticks with me to this day.
What excites you about classical music?
It is truly a universal art form. You don’t need some special training or advanced education to appreciate its beauty and its power.
What is your fondest memory of classical music in Kansas City? I’m a big fan and advocate of the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and their production of Rossini’s "The Barber of Seville" at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Spring 2018 ranks as one of the single most enjoyable performances I’ve experienced.
