Vice President for Academic Life

Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of De La Salle,
As we begin the 2017-2018 school year at De La Salle, I have been thinking quite a bit about space, both the physical manifestation of brick and mortar buildings as well as the more metaphysical aspects of the concept. We were beyond excited to begin the school year with the opening of a new space, De La Salle’s Learning Center; it is bright, open, flexible, and.... Read more.

President's Letter

Welcome to the new school year!  We are off and running, which reminds me of one of my favorite prayers. I would like to share it with you now as we start a new year together.
WORDS TO LIVE BY

Athletics

Athletic schedules and general information for all sports are available in the Main Office, the locker room, and on the De La Salle High School webpage at www.dlshs.org. Please also visit http://www.dlshs.org/athletics/spotlight-on-athletics for more detailed information.

After months of development with partner REPu, the app is one that players, parents, and fans across the country will enjoy. De La Salle is one of only a handful of high schools in the country that is able to offer an app like this to fans.
Similar to collegiate and professional athletic apps, DLS Spartans will allow fans to bookmark their favorite teams and receive updates through push notifications.
The app will also be mirrored on a new athletics website, www.dlsspartans.org, which will launch in the upcoming weeks. Combined, the new app and website will offer the DLS community an intuitive, engaging way to connect the DLS Athletics. Click here to read more information and to find links for the App Store and Google Play!

At De La Salle, our students come first. Therefore, the first priority of the school should complement our Mission, serving all students and the every year operational needs of the school. We do this through the fundraising efforts of the Annual Fund, which is vital to the financial health, growth, and future of the school.
Our hope is that you will put De La Salle and the Annual Fund first on your list to support this year and every year. All gifts are welcomed and appreciated. Click here to join our Annual Fund effort by making your gift today.

Did you know?

A fun fact about Lasallian tradition
As the Christian Brothers community expanded, Saint John Baptist de La Salle asked his fellow Brothers to write to him every month with updates "on community relationships, their efforts in the classroom, their progress in praryer, and their fidelity to their community practices" (The Letters of John Baptist de La Salle). Consider this newsletter as one way we continue this communications tradition!
