Make Connections at the BeWell Wellness Fair |
The annual Wellness Fair creates opportunities to move, learn, and have fun, while fostering a greater sense of community and belonging, which is important for one’s well-being. In line with the re-launch of Cardinal at Work Cares (Stanford’s employee give-back program), this year’s Wellness Fair will focus on coming together for positive change.
Prevention is at the heart of the BeWell Program. We invite you to learn about the benefits and programs that help build healthy habits, so that you can be proactive about maintaining your health as you make a difference in the community and the world.
What else is going on at the fair:
|
- Giveaways while supplies last
-
Farmer’s Market – Fresh, delicious food for sale and free samples. Meet the people who grow your fruit and vegetables
- Visit with therapy dogs – Unconditional love in exchange for pats
- Music – A DJ will play songs you know and love
- Fun dance demos led by Stanford Recreation and Wellness instructors at 12:45 p.m.

| Discovery Hall Fire/Evacuation Drill
SRWC Operations will conduct an annual fire/building evacuation drill at Discovery Hall on Wednesday, May 29 at 9:10 a.m.
During the drill, the fire alarm system inside Discovery Hall will be activated, and annunciators and strobes may be audible/visible from other buildings. No protective actions are required outside of this building.
Occupants should acknowledge any audio or visual alarms, walk calmly but quickly to the nearest emergency exit/stairwell, and check-in at the designated Emergency Assembly Point (EAP).
We ask for your full cooperation during the evacuation drill. We recognize this may interrupt your schedule and apologize for any inconvenience in advance.
|
|
NOTE: Please take the time to familiarize yourself with your building's emergency exits and EAP (Emergency Assembly Point). We have them up on all the lobby screens and on the SRWC Website.
|
|
|
If you have participated in an SRWC Fire Drill recently (Cardinal Hall on Feb 2, Academy Hall on April 10, University Hall on April 24), we'd like to hear from you. Let us know how it went and what we can do better.
