You have most likely heard that the golf course owner withdrew their proposed code changes with the Town of Carbondale due to the massive opposition from the RVR community. We would like to invite everyone who volunteered their time to lead neighborhood efforts, write letters, prepare to speak at the meeting, spread the word, or pass out flyers to join us for a casual poolside get together. Beer, wine, pizza. high fives and hugs.

| Dive-in Movie Night This Saturday
Join us on Saturday, Aug. 28 for a fun family event!
This summer's Dive-in Movie will feature the movie, Luca.
The large pool will close at 5 p.m. and re-open at 7:45 p.m. for the event; please plan accordingly. We will have garlic knots and brownie bites for light snacks. Guests are welcome to join for $5.

The Pickle Report
At the annual meeting in July, I presented the background for the pickle report. Pickles this week,
We completed and submitted an application to the DRC for an owner who doesn't do email or technology; she is excited to get the work done on her new home.
We resolved the placement of a shipping container parked in the street. It wasn't supposed to be on the road at all. The owner got it moved, and the new occupant understands where to park when he moves in.
Materials stored in the side yard of one home were an obvious eyesore for the neighbor. A few reminder notices at the door prompted compliance with our covenants.

New Radar Sign in RVR
The RADAR sign has been deployed in the community and is gathering speed information. Data shows the average speed in front of the Ranch House during the hours of 8 a.m.– 9 p.m. is 26.704 mph. The high mark was 34 mph. The posted speed in all of River Valley Ranch is 20 mph. Please SLOW DOWN.
