2022 (Draft) Budget Announced
One of the Board’s most important responsibilities each year is producing the RVR Master Association’s annual budget. It’s the blueprint for how the Board and management team handle our affairs throughout the year. A draft of the 2022 budget is being finalized and will be shared with the community next week in the November “View From the Board.”

The Board on Nov. 4 had its final budget working session for 2022. This session included reviewing the proposed budget, line by line, and evaluating the critical balance between cost and member satisfaction. The result of this effort will be a Master Association operational budget and reserve budget for 2022, which we will begin communicating on Wednesday.

Reminders & Highlights

Halloween Fun
We hope everyone had a fun Halloween! We enjoyed handing out candy and getting a chance to see all your little ghosts and gouls. Pictured below are just a few of our favorite visitors.
Holiday Lighting
Per the RVR Holiday Decoration and Lighting Policy: holiday lighting and decorations, including yard ornaments, can be placed on or around your residence seven days before Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, Nov. 18 this year.
Please keep wildlife safety in mind while hanging lights and decorations this holiday season. We have received reports of a large bull elk in RVR with decorative lights hanging from his antlers. Consider wrapping lights and decorations tightly around posts and trees. Hanging lights should be at least 6 feet off the ground and fastened at the ends. It is also helpful to avoid draping lights around bushes or on trees. Thank you for doing your part to keep our local wildlife safe.

Water Conservation in RVR
We want to thank you all for supporting RVR's water conservation efforts this year. By installing the new irrigation controllers around the Ranch House, we saved over 20,000,000 gallons of water compared to last year's usage! We look forward to doubling our savings next year as the remainder of the new controllers will be installed by the spring of 2022
The irrigation team is proud to help lead RVR to a more sustainable future.
Your River Valley Ranch Irrigation Team,
Travis, Guillermo, Carlos, Devin & Rich

RVR Fitness Updates
We are happy to see so many of your smiling faces at the Ranch House enjoying our fitness program! We have seen an increase in overall fitness usage and many classes have waitlists due to popular demand.
You will now see a 50%  increase in Yoga and Pilates allowing 15 people per class! We are also increasing Boot Camp, HIIT and Power Hour to 10, Spin and Confident Core to 12.This allows us to accommodate more fitness enthusiasts, while still staying safe.
Thank you for your patience over the next few weeks as we make these modifications!
Group Fitness Cancellation Policy
Beginning on Monday, Nov. 8, a new group fitness and cancellation policy will go into effect. Many of our group fitness classes are currently at capacity or have waitlists. Starting Monday, members can book classes up to 5 days in advance. If you’re unable to attend class, we ask that you cancel at least 12 hours in advance, as this will allow one of your neighbors the greatest opportunity to have your spot! We understand that the unexpected can happen, so you’ll have one “freebie.” Upon the second no-show or cancellation that is less than 12 hours prior to class, you will not be able to register for classes ahead of time for a period of one week
We will continue to add classes to our group fitness schedule to accommodate as many homeowners as possible.
