We are excited to announce that the Winter 2024 program guide is out and we can't wait for you to see all of the programs we have in store for you next season. Click here to view the guide online! A limited supply of the guides are available via hardcopy starting Thursday, November 23 and they can be picked up at the McClure United Church during our regular business hours.

Wizards of Odds 'n Ends Craft Sale Thursday, November 23, 2023 12:30pm-3:30pm
Join NESA and its amazing volunteers of the Wizards of Odds 'n Ends club for a one-of-a-kind craft sale at the Rundle Park Recreation Centre (2909-113 Avenue). Look for the club in the 'Main Hall'.
Unique and handmade items will be for sale during this one-day event!

What's happening at Northgate?

Here is a bit of an update about what has been happening at Northgate and the building rehab project over the last few months:
  • Lighting replacement is the main scope work currently underway. Replacements have been completed in the second floor mezzanine and in several rooms. Replacements have started in the fitness area and cafeteria. Lighting replacement will continue through December and then the contractor will work on the electrical distribution.

  • Prepping for the tile removal in the men's shower has commenced.

  • Asphalt work to the parking lot is complete, unforeseen organics were discovered in the remediation work resulting in extra fill required to complete the work.  

  • NESA's front office also had a makeover and the staff and volunteers who work at the front desk will get to enjoy brand new desks and ergonomical furniture upon their return!

    Lorac Construction is the company who was awarded the third-party construction contract to complete the building's rehabilitation work.

The North Edmonton Seniors Association continues to thrive and fulfill its mission of creating inclusive, fun and meaningful senior programs and services for its community; we can do this because of the support we get from our members and community!

Two-Day Sale at NESA! 

Join NESA at its temporary office location (McClure United Church - 13708 74 Street) for a two-day book and puzzle sale scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2023 from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Some of our amazing and talented NESA Clubs will also be selling their handmade items on December 19, 2023 between 9:00am-3:00pm.

Join us for a special NESA Concert Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2pm

Join NESA for an afternoon of beautiful music performed by the amazingly talented NESA Choralaires and Bell Choir.
