Due to the continued request for citizenship instruction, we will be offering two classes this spring. Citizenship Coordinator, Paige Zelikow, will lead a class for Intermediate-level English learners, while Peggy Lowry, a volunteer teacher, will lead a class for beginner-level students. The classes begin in early February and will run for 12 weeks.
Anyone interested in joining a class should contact our office to register. Learners who are not currently LVCA students will need to complete an assessment before classes begin.
Since our grant through the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services ended in September 2016, 87 individuals have obtained their citizenship and taken their oath.
We look forward to helping even more people reach this momentous achievement in 2018.
