Doctors' Day on the Hill: A Record Turnout!

This year's Doctors' Day on the Hill was a huge success, with over 85 Nashville Academy of Medicine (NAM) members joining us at the capitol, the largest group we've had in years! NAM members showed up in full force to meet with legislators, discuss key healthcare issues, and make their voices heard. Thank you to everyone who participated, your engagement is what drives meaningful change in healthcare policy. We look forward to building on this momentum next year!

Help Policymakers Understand Medicare Reform Urgency

The Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) has made government payment reform a top priority of the organization, working closely with the American Medical Association (AMA) to advocate for annual inflationary updates to Medicare payments and with state lawmakers to increase TennCare payment up to the average contracted rate. To achieve these goals, the TMA needs your help. Policymakers must understand the urgency for reform and how access to care for thousands of Tennesseans could be threatened if not addressed. By completing a survey, TMA can generate valuable state-level data that will be used to inform its advocacy efforts.
