Chemists David Podgorski and Phoebe Zito, whose expertise is in environmental chemistry, are the recipients of a 2024 Faculty Early Career Development Program award.

University of New Orleans graduate student Lydia DiPaola is the recipient of a one-year $10,000 fellowship, which will fund her research to address high priority needs within Louisiana’s coastal environment.

On April 22nd, Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) hosted a Health Fair for UNO students interested in pursuing a career in health sciences. Attendees talked with admissions faculty, staff and students from professional schools in Louisiana. Based in the Department of Biological Sciences, AED is a student organization for pre-professional health students.
