Notre Dame tops $222 million in research awards

A pandemic didn't slow Notre Dame from pursuing research awards, as indicated by the record-breaking research award funding the University received for fiscal year 2021. This marks the first time Notre Dame has surpassed the $200 million mark. (More...)

Artifical intelligence tool could help with health literacy

A new federal rule requires health care providers to offer patients access to their personal medical records. But providing records to patients doesn’t equip them to understand what's there. Suzanne Shanahan, director of the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University, has been appointed the Leo and Arlene Hawk Executive Director of the Center for Social Concerns, effective Oct. 1.
