DASA Connect Returns to Bring New Employees Together
|
|
At this year’s relaunched DASA Connect series, new employees across DASA participated in several activities to orient themselves to their new employer. The in-person, half-day orientation program was paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, but relaunched this year.

- Talley Student Union will close on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. and reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 7 a.m. Power will be disconnected at Talley and Price Music Center Dec. 17-21 for NC State’s Power Forward project.
- Nominations for University Awards for Excellence are now being accepted. For more information on the programs and to submit nominations, visit Staff Recognition. Please note that solicitations for Pride of the Wolfpack Awards will be sought in the Spring, but DASA Star awards may be submitted at any time.
- The Feed the Pack Food Pantry has special Winter Holiday Hours both when classes are not in session, and when the University is closed, and will need volunteers to staff the pantry during those times. Sign up here.
- Join the growing network of Wellness Champions at NC State that strive to shift the culture around well-being wherever they work. Gain tips, strategies and practical information that can support your personal wellness and those that you work with. The deadline to apply is Jan. 4, 2024.
- Share our list of the best study spots on campus with your students as they continue preparing for their final exams.
- The Gregg Museum of Art & Design will be open regular hours through the holidays. Plan a break or bring your holiday guests for a visit. Three exhibitions are running: “Leading by Design,” “Selections from the Collections,” and “BLOW UP II: Inflatable Contemporary Art.” Galleries are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Reminder: Spring 2024 Crafts Center class registration is now open to faculty, staff and the general public.
