Action Alert 🚨
Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention
The President's Budget proposal for FY27 would eliminate two critical centers of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC): the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) and the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). The Y has spent 20 years working with CDC to scale evidence-based programs addressing diabetes, hypertension, cancer, arthritis and childhood obesity. The proposed elimination of the NCCDPHP and NCIPC would end this partnership and our ability to continue to scale proven interventions.Take action to support health for all.
