New dean of the College of Science announced

Steven A. Corcelli, professor of chemistry and biochemistry has been appointed the William K. Warren Foundation Dean of the College of Science, effective April 1. Corcelli has served as interim science dean since July.

Pathways to Notre Dame brings tuition to zero dollars for some students

Beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, Notre Dame will ensure that families with annual income below $150,000 will receive need-based financial aid that covers the cost of tuition. Families with income below $200,000 will receive need-based aid that covers half the cost of tuition.

This is the seventh in a series of features highlighting the managing directors of the University’s strategic initiatives. The managing directors are key senior staff members who work directly with the faculty directors to help implement and operationalize the vision for the initiatives, oversee initiative staff, and serve as thought partners for the faculty directors.

Managing director finds inspiration in motivating, equipping others in their work to eliminate poverty

Vickie Seeger, managing director of Notre Dame’s Poverty Initiative, found her way back to Notre Dame via a career change and connections made through Notre Dame’s Inspired Leadership Initiative.

2026 Commencement speaker announced

Sister Raffaella Petrini, F.S.E., president of the Pontifical Commission and Governorate of Vatican City State, will be the principal speaker and receive an honorary degree at the University’s 181st Commencement Ceremony on May 17.
