Improving Access to Transportation in Nashville: A Student-Led Focus Group Collaboration with Mercury Courts Residents |
Students from the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance Interprofessional Education Program (IPE) facilitated a focus group session earlier this month. The group was comprised of community members from Urban Housing Solutions, Mercury Courts. Their collective goal was to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas to improve access to transportation services in Nashville.
Since its inception in 1999, the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance has sought to create innovative avenues for interprofessional and educational collaboration that not only allow students and faculty to share and apply their knowledge, but also leave a lasting impact on the community. Our developing programs leverage the strengths of the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance and its existing IPE faculty collaborative.
