Your student may not have started high school at Valor, but we are so excited they are going to finish with us! We know starting at a new school can have its challenges, but we are confident your student will feel like an Eagle in no time. It's one of our top priroties.
We know that when students get involved at school, they do better academically, socially, and spiritually. Our goal in the coming weeks is to give you all the information you need to help your student start the fall feeling connected and motivated.

Calling All Thespians! 

Take advantage of your first opportunity to be a part of a Valor theatre production!
For the first time ever, Valor is presenting a summer musical. We will be performing Little Women, The Musical, from August 22-24. 
And in keeping with Valor tradition, we will be presenting a fall play, The Importantce of Being Earnest, October 4-5 and 11-12.
Auditions for both shows are on May 11.

Summer Performance Training

If you attended Incoming Athlete Night, you probably heard about opportunities for your student-athlete to join other Valor athletes for summer training and workouts. For more information, contact your team's coach or athletics@valorchristian.com.


Learn with STEM

if you are considering getting involved in the Valor Institute for Applied STEM, be sure to contact Rick Russon. He's got some fun ways for you to meet like-minded friends this summer and get off to a great start in the fall.

Magnus Health Forms

For your convenience, Valor has partnered with Magnus Health to provide a simple, safe and secure way to collect and manage many of your student’s medical records. All student medical records are submitted directly through Magnus Health.
The best part is that once you’ve completed and uploaded your student's documents, you will only need to update them each year. Another benefit is the parent customer service line available to assist with any questions about the Magnus Health website: 877.461.6831.
Next week, watch for your welcome email message from Magnus Health. The welcome message will provide you with a link to their system and your login credentials. 
Student medical forms are due by July 15 and are required for school attendance. We recommend that you get started right away as some of the forms require a physician signature.

Course Scheduling

An Academic and College Counselor will reach out to you about creating a course schedule that is tailored to your interests and abilities, while also addressing requirements for graduation and college placement. Check out Valor's graduation requirements here.
You are also always welcome to contact your counselor if you have any questions. The counselor assignments are as follows:
After June 5, counselors will be in and out of the office. At that time, it is best to contact our front desk by phone (303.471.3000) or email.

Thursday Email Updates

In the coming weeks, we will be sending you information that will further acquaint you with Valor's academic and co-curricular programs and provide important information about the start of school. Keep an eye open for a new message every Thursday.
